Inzuno ("we", "our", or "us") operates the website inzuno.be — Rwanda's real estate platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our services.

  • Profile information: agency name, logo, description, and license number if you register as an agency.
  • Listing data: property details, photos, location, and pricing you submit when posting a listing.
  • Usage data: pages visited, search queries, and listings viewed — collected automatically to improve the platform.
  • Messages: content of messages you send to other users or agents through our platform.
  • Payment information: transaction references and payment method details for premium subscription requests (we do not store card numbers or MoMo PINs).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Create and manage your account
  • Display and manage your property listings
  • Facilitate communication between buyers, sellers, and agents
  • Process premium subscription requests
  • Send transactional emails (account verification, password reset)
  • Improve our platform and user experience
  • Comply with applicable Rwandan laws and regulations

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information in the following limited cases:

  • Publicly visible listings: property details and the lister's contact information are visible to anyone browsing the platform.
  • Service providers: we use third-party services (Resend for email, Cloudinary for image storage, DigitalOcean for hosting) that process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality agreements.
  • Legal requirements: we may disclose data if required by Rwandan law or a valid government request.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers hosted by DigitalOcean in the Amsterdam region. We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, hashed passwords (bcrypt), and access controls to protect your information.

While we take reasonable precautions, no internet service is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong password and keep your login credentials confidential.

5. Cookies

Inzuno uses session cookies necessary for authentication and keeping you logged in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some features (like staying logged in) may not work correctly.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate information through your account settings
  • Delete your account and associated data by contacting us
  • Object to certain uses of your data
